New Product Line Outperforms the Market

New product line brings SONNENKRAFT back in front of the chasing pack in the solar energy market. No less than half of the products are entirely new or improved. The motto of the product development effort has been efficiency, easy and extra – the three E’s.
SONNENKRAFT has already introduced a new solar thermal collector, the SKR500, and a new hot water solution, the COMPACT E. Now the biggest launch of new products ever seen in the solar industry is here. Half of SONNENKRAFT’s product line is either entirely new or improved. The goal of the product development is to make it easier for the partners to install, service and sell the solutions – and for the end-users to get more efficient solutions that are convenient to operate.
“We are very happy to present our new range of products to our professional partners and to the public in general. It has been a strong effort from the product management team. The future of solar energy is indeed promising and we are now ready to address the many opportunities with solutions that provide numerous benefits for both installers and end-users,” says Christian Stadler, Technical Head, SONNENKRAFT.
An example of the product development effort is the new fresh water module for COMFORT E solutions.
The circulation pump available for the fresh water module is literally intelligent. Over a period of time it collects data of the usage of hot water, and therefore it can on its own adapt to the household’s needs. This saves a lot of energy and makes the solar thermal solution an even better investment.
“Our focus is to develop solar energy solutions that provide something extra for the end-user. Performance enhancing features such as the intelligent circulation pump is a good example of this. Another is that we have reduced the heat loss by 20% in our new buffer tanks,” says Magnus Wallin, managing director of SONNENKRAFT International.
